About NiSS

Name: Anissa-Lee (‘Niss’) Davids

Born: 1973, in Murray Bridge, South Australia.

Education: Murray Bridge High School, then a stint at art school in Sydney before going on in adulthood to complete a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Postgraduate Certificate (both with a History and Archaeology focus.)

Experience: Drawing, painting, sculpting, designing and writing since early childhood; creating countless pieces using many different materials.

Now: Currently residing in Brisbane, Australia, with two housemates and many, many animals.

NiSS STUDiO was first launched in 2012 as an Etsy store. In 2019 the decision was made to move to a dedicated website, as it gave more scope for written and digital work.
