Continuing the gallery with the Resin8 brooches. Each group represents a particular theme or source of inspiration, and, as always, they are completely unique.

FYI - owing to the extremely reflective nature of these items, they were an absolute nightmare to photograph! They really are much nicer in real life as the pictures don’t really convey the depth and detail in the designs well at all.

BuBBLE CHUNKZ v resin8

Created just after I finished the Bright Rainbow Bubble Chunkz set, these vibrant brooches carry through that bold and bubbly theme with embedded beads and crystals.

A group of resin-embedded 3D collages in foil and enamel, depicting a variety of sparkling scenes. It’s wearable pictorial art.

Brilliant Comets

Three miniature enamel paintings stylistically inspired by the illustrations of vividly bright comets that can be seen in Medieval illuminated manuscripts, and in the Bayeaux Tapestry.

The concept was inspired by a photograph of three of my favourite history experts meeting up together at a recent History Festival in the UK; all in sparkling form.

Inspiration can come from all sorts of things!
